In their villa, Fritz and Greta appear to live a comfortable life that is deeply rooted in the traditions of Tyrol. One day, however, their tranquility is truncated by the purchase of a detergent from the cosmopolitan market. In the midst of this disarray arrives Josip, an unexpected visitor. Alpenstock is a crazy and absurd comedy, a farce that drags the viewer into a spiral of black humor. An irreverent piece, this crude portrait reveals our western “wellbeing”, coming as a slap in the face to the audience.
Alpentsock premiered on December 8, 2017 at the Tantarantana Theatre in Barcelona.
